it was meant to be a very sweet and enjoyable gathering with my high school buddies & their boyfriends... also meant to celebrate my 2xth birthday... eric has this very neat and homely place in sai kung... and we had very nice food, a genius chef and a group of chill people... i enjoyed the night very much... bigbig thanks to my mates for the nice cake and presents... i had to leave early for the intern-less call today...

i didn't realise this scratch on the driver's door of dear blueying until i parked my car at home... it's a 1.5 feet deliberately-induced scratch... front to back... probably with a key... in hands of some absolutely childish and inconsiderate bast*rds... i could feel how thrilled whoever mongrel is to scratch the innocent car... i could also feel how painful it was for my dear blueying... it was deep down to the paint... my blueying just celebrated his 1st birthday and has been under tremendous love... there's not a single scratch anywhere... d*mn it... i thought i'm living in a very civilized and educated city... perhaps i'm wrong... perhaps daddy is right in being very cautious and avoid parking his new cars in the street...

i wish i could forgive whoever it was...

omg i'm a year older, again... thanks everyone for the sweet birthday messages...

the week has been a very relaxing one... we have very few cases... am about to leave the infectious disease team... my luvly senior is out of town... we're pretty much on our own... it's superb to have holiday on my birthday in the middle of the week... then it's carman's wedding which the whole family has been looking forward to...

we had a wonderful dinner in hutong... the view was splendid through a very clear sky... the award-winning bartender, though being *funny*, tailored made for each of us nice but costy cocktails... appetizers & desserts are average... mains and noodles are pretty well done... i dun feel very thirsty afterwards... recommended for special occasions...

the best kept secret of the day

today... i woke up and realised it's already 1020... o goodness... for the first 2 seconds i was wondering if i should actually call my hospital to take a sick leave... then no... if i take a sick leave i shouldn't be calling that late... it would be too obvious... then i checked my pager and relieved to see only one ward had paged me... and they didn't page me again... probably not sth urgent... next i called my luvly partner and told him my big secret... diverted all my calls to him... (the operator even asked me whether i'm going out for a short while and i was like erh yesyes...) i dashed back to hospital... fortunately no one saw me sneaked into my office... i started ward round at 1050 and finished at 1150... then i went to ICU round as if nothing has happened... ooops... conclusion: perhaps i don't needa go to work that early each day...

happy month

it's been a while since i last posted... partly because of facebook i have to admit... there're too many gadgets to play there... though most of them are quite pointless... still... i, too, enjoy clicking around here and there... what surprises me is actually many people are as moliu as me...

work has been busy... i think i put all of my energy into work... so much so i'm quite exhausted after work each day... i literally went to bed right after dinner... was chatting with a friend last week and i just realised a lot of people actually don't put that much energy into work... therefore they have the energy to do other stuff and enjoy life during off times... for me i do love my work and it's quite natural for me to put in all my effort when i'm working... perhaps i should adjust a bit so my life will be more balanced...

it's already half way through september... meaning that the bigbigday is approaching... the birthday dinners are quite well scheduled this year... am really look forward to the week after next... when i'll meet my friends and also go to my cousin's wedding... it's been a long long while since we have big and happy family events... it's gonna be a happy month before the 30th, the call day with no intern...

a bit stuffy

am acutely and critically addicted to facebook... am surprised to find many supposed-busy-bodies around... think it's a very clever & user-friendly system... it's going to take up a lot of my already limited spare time...

went to la dynastie in cyberport for dinner... fine cantonese dinning... already my fourth visit and it keeps up the standard... very spacious and serves nice food... free parking plus you can always walk-in for a table... top on my favourite-restaurant-list...

after dinner, the blue ying met his twin brother...
