the eight

let's welcome autumn...

went to macau last weekend and there i found my new luv... a chinese restaurant, the eight in the grand lisboa...

am actually a little picky when it comes to my favourite restaurant list... it's not difficult to get in the list, but staying in the list is a different story... i've been looking for real nice dim sum, my "best dim sum" restaurant is yet to be found... so far there's only one chinese restaurant which never disapoints me, the golden leaf of conrad hk...

it was an enjoyable weekend in macau when i saw my idols sampras & agassi... then i decided to visit this restaurant i liked once again... am very happy that it kept up to standard... i luv the delicate deco... we're late and the restaurant wasn't crowded at all... we're given a big round table for 2 of us... the food was fab... what impressed me most was the waitresses... much more sensible than many luxurious restaurants in macau or even hk... they know what you need and act before u asked for it... the experience was in general very satisfying...

mum had been there before during busy hours and was given the same round table for 8 ppl which upset her a little... so it's best to avoid peak hours... maybe the staff cannot nicely handle peak times... well who could? anyway this is one good place to go... i'll revisit the eight again and again but probably not robuchon...
