larger not necessarily the better

i believe my decision about not doing attachment is correct.. it's great to be on holiday... today i do what i "normally" did... sleep till noon... have udon noodle at home (i had udon noodles for lunch 5 days a week when i studied)... play solitaire for an hour... put on my favourite shirts and leather shoes... go out with my golden ying... today is a day to which i'm so familiar... i havent had these "norms" for 2 months... they aren't my routines anymore... they're replaced by something else... tmr i'll play tennis, meet old friends, have massage and dine with parents and enjoy my leave... again, very "me"...

yesterday i noticed this new supermarket in causeway bay... gourment in the basement of lee gardens, so u know what kind of "market" it is... again, i'm pretty impressed by this high-class shop... it's actually quite small compared with City'super and Great...

look when these "english-speaking stores" first opened... i was actually pretty excited becoz i can virtually find anything of any brand there... a supermarket alone is like a mall, that was pretty fun particularly when u have a long shopping list... now that is no longer new... sometimes it's too complex when u only need a can of coke... but gourment meets both needs... it isnt that big and yet they have cubic watermelon...

leave

this week i have my first paid leave... didnt arrange any attachment... this is kinda unexpected... i thought i'd arrange sth to do over my holidays... esp when the whole world is doing it... but no... i chose to rest... i believe this is what i need...

little rabbit is off today, too... and guess what... we went to inspiration lake, the artificial lake next to hk disneyland... it isn't like us to spend an afternoon travelling on mtr to somewhere without much to do... the largest artificial lake in hk is still pretty small... i dunno why it's called a "recreation center" when there's not much facilities... i thought there're things like rowing... perhaps they aren't opened yet... so we just walked around under plenty of sun... it's more like a park...i still enjoyed it... long since i last played outdoor with such fine weather... usually i dun even know how the weather is...

five more days to go... spent most time sleeping... very happy to have spent some time with my rabbit... as if it's summer holiday... gonna spend some time with granny and old friends before i'm back to work...

krispy kreme donuts

big big kiss to rabbit's parents and muimui, they're super nice to bring me my beluved donuts... thought i won't see krispy kreme until mmc returns to the uk and be back again, that would be xmas... good... it keeps up with standard... even after some days of refrigeration...

i suggest that mmc could start his first business by getting the franchise here and make it available in every mtr station... but he refused... he says ppl will copy very soon and it wont last, like japanese cheesecakes and portugese egg tarts... acutally he's pretty right, "quispy queme" & "krispy king" will start appearing everywhere, selling much cheaper donuts, they'll even add tofu & green tea flavoured donuts... o well he's not qualified anyway... need some experience and plenty of cash... he has neither...

a painless way to die

now panadol is one of the most popular analgesics (i.e. painkiller)... perhaps it treats millions of tension headache a day, pretty effective... and then it's cheap, only a dollar a tablet... however, it's not a very good idea to try kill oneself by taking dozens of tablets of panadol... actually the more one takes, the more pain one suffers before one's heart stops...

there're people who dont' intend to die but like to threaten their boyfriends by harming themselves... so panadol is the drug that can be quite conveniently obtained over the counter and it's commonly used... it's probably harmless like vitamin... they take some 40 tabs... and then they really threaten their men, not by the act of suicide but the stale-lemon-colored-face when their livers fail...

there're people who really intend to die... they thought panadol is clean, painfree and odourless... probably better than burning charcoal or jump from height... plus it costs only $50 for 60 tabs... so they take the tablets, go to bed... then they're taken to hospital, fed charcoal and wake up... they think they're okay and plan home... some 40 hours later, their tummy start aching, followed by face turn yellow... legs swell... of course in the end they die, slowly and painfully...
