st. valentine's day dinner
since last yr... i started celebrating st. v. day with chinese dining... it's great, becoz chinese restaurants are never fully booked... and i dont get to eat expensive set dinner food which usually doesnt taste good...
this yr, i went to the same chinese restaurant harbour road no. 1... to my disappointment, the food didnt really keep up to standard... a bit too salty this time... they're good... but i mean, it's a fine chinese resturant in a 6-star hotel... i'd expect the best...
dont u notice it? for many restaurants, when u find it good for the 1st time, u decide to revisit for a 2nd... and 3rd time... by the 3rd... u're usually disappointed that it's not up to it's previous standard and decided not to go again... it isnt the first time that this happens to me... so another one off my favourite restaurants list... sad...

It happens a lot actually, especially with new restaurants... when they're really new, they're like a little business and they actually care about their customers, but then soon later when they're more established, all they think about is making money, so their quality goes down.
Anyway, it's all good, one off the list means one more space for one extra restaurant! Time to try something new!
