hv been busy booking this and that for my side trips...
yesterday, i had diabetes clinic... it's as boring as one can ever imagine... but i must share with u this very gentlemen... it's a 78 yrs old gentlemen with some 8 yrs history of NIDDM... all his bp, sugars and lipids were perfectly controlled... he told his doctor...

"sir... how're my scores??? u know, i'm going to cape town in the coming weeks... then i'm getting married(!!) in late june... and i'm not supposed to know it but they're arranging a surprise party for my birthday on 30th..."for a second i was thinking o your blood sugar... but look at him, he's so sweet and happy... i then saw him at the registration counter with his fiancee... =))

hahaha ... a 78-yr-old with his gf + getting married + cape town + bday party ... this is very cute & sweet =)
i went to cornwall in easter weekend and my host was a pair of 60-ish couple who got married for some 10 yrs. i already thought that's sth, but ur story is even more so ...haha
